Ein Traum. Die Bilder sind für jeden SF-Fan ein absoluter Genuss. Harris versteht sein Handwerk exzellent. Die gebunden Ausgabe macht sich sehr schön im Regal. Eine absolute Kaufempfehlung!
I'm into digital art and John Harris is a legend. This was delivered really fast and I really liked the book.
Mein Sohn hat sich das Buch zu Weihnachten gewünscht.Daher kann ich mich schlecht dazu äußern.Die Freude war allerdings groß.
Dieser Bildband gehört ebenfalls zur Grundausstattung eines SF-Art-Liebhabers (wie ich es seit den frühen 80ern bin), ähnlich wie "Hardware" von Chris Foss oder "Parallel lines" von Peter Elson.John Harris malt weniger klar, mehr vage und andeutungsweise, verwaschen, schemenhaft. Aber seine Bilder besitzen dieselbe Faszination, um darin für etliche, unzählbare Stunden träumerisch zu versinken. Auch hier gibt es Unmengen an Details zu entdecken und die Vielfalt an Ideen haut einen um !Ein Must Have !Es gibt auch eine Variant-Version (anders designter Schutzumschlag) mit signiertem Kunstdruck und im Schuber, limitiert auf 300 Exemplare, die ich nur empfehlen kann.
